Fire Safety
Fire Awareness
Fire can occur even in well maintained premises. Every year people die or are seriously injured as a result of fires at work and, in addition to the tragedy of loss of life, fire costs the UK economy millions of pounds each year.
Recognising the potential causes of fire, identifying situations where people are most vulnerable and the preventative measures we can employ to reduce the spread of fire, will go a long way to minimising the risk.
This course is designed to give all personnel an awareness of basic fire safety and their responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. It also provides instruction on fire risk assessment, emergency planning and the types of fire fighting equipment and systems currently in use today.
